1. Treat everyone with respect and good manners.
Be respectful to one another no matter what background you come from (Madhab, nationality, race, etc.)
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have been sent to perfect good character.”

Don’t lie about others or anything in general to make people laugh. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Woe to him who tells things, speaking falsely, to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him! (Sunan Abi Dawud 4990)
No bullying will be tolerated. Any complaints might and will (in some cases) result in instant disqualification from the event and a server ban.
2. No making jokes regarding the religion
"And if you ask them, they will surely say, We were only conversing and playing. Say, Is it Allāh and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking? Make no excuse; you have disbelieved [i.e., rejected faith] after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals."

3. Don’t share content which shows the ‘awrah of anyone
4. No gossiping/slandering
"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting) And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful."

5. Please be careful with what you say
Do not use obscene/vulgar language. Do not mention any terror groups.
Be mindful that this is a Muslim event, and many people know about this event. Anything you say can be used to defame Muslims, and we do not want that to happen.
We want to show a good representation of Muslims to the world, and the way you speak and act matters a lot. Your actions and the way you speak are strong forms of dawah.
6. No cheating or plagiarism
Do not copy code, projects, designs, project ideas, or written work from other people and claim it as your own.
All work submitted must be original or properly credited. If you use open-source code, APIs, datasets, templates, or AI tools, disclose it in your project submission.
Do not start coding projects before the hackathon competition begins.
Repositories on GitHub will be checked, and anyone who has started the project before the start of the hacakthon will be instantly disqualified.
7. Report problems/complaints privately
If you experience or witness a problem, contact an Organizer or Moderator privately. Do not start public call-outs or arguments.
